Robert C. Angell has practiced public and private sector civil and administrative litigation in Ohio, Colorado, and federal courts since 1993. He represents professional and business clients in licensing and regulatory matters, and he assists clients with probate, estate, elder law, family law, recreation and sports law, real estate, and other matters. Mr. Angell is an administrative hearing examiner for the Ohio Department of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities. He is a member of the board of directors of the Climbing Wall Association, Inc., a trade association of manufacturers, suppliers, and operators of sport climbing facilities. In that capacity, Mr. Angell is a regular contributor to Lines, the Associations newsletter, on legal, regulatory, and risk management issues. Many public and private clients have commended Mr. Angell for his accomplishments as a counselor, litigator, and litigation supervisor. Mr. Angell holds bachelors and masters degrees from The Ohio State University and earned his law degree from Capital University. Prior to entering private practice, he served as an assistant Ohio attorney general under Attorneys General Betty Montgomery and Jim Petro.
Jeffrey R. Angell holds bachelors degrees in history and philosophy from The Ohio State University and earned his law degree from Capital University, where he received the Excellence in Advocacy Award for his performance with the Adoption Law Moot Court Team. Mr. Angell also received the Trial Advocacy Excellence for the Future Award while at Capital. Since joining the firm in November 2007, he has been involved in commercial landlord/tenant, administrative, and family law matters. Mr. Angell was formerly a licensed private investigator, and worked as a Special Investigator for USIS, Inc., a contract company serving the United States Office of Personnel Management. Mr. Angell continues to conduct federal security clearance, background, and suitability investigations under contract for USIS. As an undergraduate, Mr. Angell was a student supervisor in the Ohio State University Transportation Department, where he won more than thirty awards for customer service and on occasion served as a team driver for the football Buckeyes.
